Does College Matter Anymore?

We’ve been asked this question a million times, and our answer is the same… IT DEPENDS!!

If your field is liberal arts, or you are on some pre-law track, absolutely! But for anything else, we believe that the answer is NO! Of course if you want to hang out, party, and take advantage of the social life , there is absolutely no replacement for college–stop reading right here if thats all you are interested in.

Today’s post-secondary education system is largely designed to take your money. We said it. Its the truth. How many people do you know owe more in student loans than they gross in 1,2,3, even 5 years—total? How many people do you know with a college education that still cant manage to find a job? Today’s post-secondary education system takes no involvement or responsibility for your employment post-graduation. Todays’ post-secondary education system is at least 5 years behind the industry in technical areas.

There you go. We said it. If you are interested in at least tripling the chances of actually being able to make ends meet with or without a college degree, job-specific I.T. skills will take you there faster than any other field in the world!! Yes, the prices may be higher than college in some cases, but the return on investment is almost immediate, as just about every sector in our economy is STARVED FOR TECH TALENT!!
